may apparently the song a bit the 'sinofós' (the' if not ...') of fuese por Quico the Celio, the Boy and Dumb Ferreries , fantastic band and loved the land of the Ebro no obstante Reza in his Letter :

If not for so many roles,
instances, and income guarantees.
If not for so many roles.
would have a little rat

lliure per a think about pardals.

[If it were not for so many roles, instances, and guarantees income if it were not for all the papers would have a free moment to think about the sparrows ...]

But it is true, to win a marathon there be prepared and allow time in the field. This year we won 38 species away from the second (!). 'Twice You only win' we say, since it is the second time we won the marathon in the SEO, all other team won by the Tramuntana this year did not participate. But we have not earned the 17th and something like the first time, but again surpassing the mark of 200. And for seven species. The third-best record 'sea-land' of all time in Europe after 214, 212, 2009 and 2010 for Tramuntana. Not bad. And we are there, clearly.

We can not help thinking that we had on hand. The absolute record, to play. Because they have failed, as we never had happened before, five species that we considered in our forecasts as safe: Charadrius dubius, Calidris minuta, Limosa lapponica, Numenius arquata and Locustella luscinioides .

Not to mention we thought possible, but certainly were feasible as the woodlark ( Lullula arborea) or gray plover (Pluvialis squatarola ). On the other hand, also failed the turtledove (Streptopelia turtur ), a species that is increasingly looking for more improbable observation ... and is still hunting ....

it is obvious that had it not been for the temporary rise in Delta de l'Ebre of previous days had flooded all over or better, having had time to prepare better now as we are talking about an absolute record Europe. Sinofós ... sinofós ... Just

unfortunate because when it is not temporary sea is flat as last year so it shows that there is always a random factor in these things and once reached a level fluctuations, at least as prepared as we do, are inevitable.

A deserved win in any event and a challenge to surpass that mark in coming years, if the forces endure. With people of Terres de l'Ebre, as Joan Antó, with the first woman to break the record of 200 species of birds seen in one day, Carolina Garcia and Sergi with fireproof and Ricard, who is it who writes. And a reminder to colleagues that might not be for one reason or another.

Lastly, as we were with Quico Celio better than a song of theirs, from where we finished the marathon, to dismiss this particular vision of our second win, not second in the victory ... It was a pleasure, thank you Joan for your input at all levels, thanks Carol for all, thanks for being motor Sergi event thanks to Disefoto its sponsorship and thanks to Leica the fantastic optical mark the difference in tricky lighting conditions. Until next time.
